WHO WE ARE
Our Appraisers are certified members of the International Society of Appraisers and the Appraisal Association of America.  We comply with the educational and technical standards of the International Society of Appraisers ( ISA ), The Appraisal Foundation and The Appraisal Association of America ( AAA ).

We are qualified to appraise all personal property, specifically antiques and decorative arts, including 18th, 19th and 20th century furniture, silver, porcelain and glass, collectibles, residential contents.  We have special training in Southern Decorative Arts and French Decorative Arts.

Our appraisers are required to study in their specialized areas.  ISA and AAA members are re-certified every five years, assuring you of maintenance of the highest professional standards.

Our work is recognized and accepted by insurance companies, banks, museums, state agencies and the Internal Revenue Service.  Clients include corporations, museums, universities, insurance companies, insurance adjusters, attorneys, moving companies, military families and individuals.
Our fees for appraisals are billed at an hourly rate.

We service the Southeastern United States.

OUR RESOURCES
State of the art equipment enables our appraisers to complete onsite work efficiently and accurately.
Extensive office resources enable our appraisers to complete research, analysis and report preparation in minimum time.  Those resources include an extensive Decorative Arts Library, Auction Databases, Professional Journals, Internet Resources and a computer network.

Received extensive training through the courses co-sponsored by the ISA and the University of Maryland on appraisal principles, ethics, research, identification and appraisal techniques and specialty courses in all areas of antiques and residential contents.

Completed masters course "French Decorative Arts" through the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, a division of The Louvre and co-sponsored by the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, The Smithsonian Institute and the Parson's School of Design.

Completed continuing education courses through The Museum of Southern Decorative Arts and Winterthur.
